Nichola Smalley

Nichola Smalley is a literary translator from Swedish and Norwegian. Her translations for adults have won and been nominated for multiple prizes, including the International Booker Prize (2021 and 2023), and she enjoys reading her translation of Klara Persson and Charlotte Ramel’s Mine! A Story of Not Sharing to her five-year-old son (who’s actually quite good at sharing). She worked for several years in indie publishing, and has lived in many places, but calls London home.
